Disc Golf Pictures
Brown Park
June 20th 2003
Pretty windy, I shot a +6 60. Dan did better.
- Dan throwing his beat-up Eagle, hoping for the big hook on dogleg right #4. (156kB)
- Dan takes the easy way out by throwing a hammer on uphill #7. You can just see the disc in the upper right corner of the frame. (184kB)
- Dan with a anhyzer backhand on #9. Looks good so far. (192kB)
- Me, trying to do the same thing as Dan with my Stingray. (200kB)
- Dan throwing a mean-looking forehand on #12.(140kB)
- Me, also on 12, lamenting that that disc isn't coming back. (188kB)
- Dan putting on 18. Looks good, yeah? Actually it didn't fall, but it still looks cool. (204kB)
July 10th 2003
In commemoration or Dan's birthday (two days prior actually), we played a "fun" round at Brown. We consisted of myself, Dan, Greg, Scott and Eli (AKA "The ɘ"). I played with an ultimate disc, as my re-gimpified leg would not allow serious throwing. Greg abstained from fun, and as a result had the best score.
- Greg driving on #12. That's just his follow through, not body english wishing the drive left.
- Scott also opts for the forehand on #12.
- Dan yeilds to peer pressure on #12.
- Later, that same hole, Dan drains the putt (for par, I think).
- Bystanders are amused at Scott's casual putting approach.
- If you maintain a powerful pose after releasing the disc, it will fly straighter.
- See, this one is doomed.
- That's better.
- Greg throws his super-elongated disc on #14.
- Prior to "unleaing the beast", Dan must "unleash the tongue".
- Kinda looks like a dance pose. I like it.
- Make sure to practice jumping the puddle, even when the puddle isn't there.
- Schwa's forehand on #16 looks good so far.
- Scott, however looks a bit piqued.
- Thanks go to the BWV for taking our group photo.
Hudson Mills
June 22nd 2003
Greg and I played Hudson Mills Original course. Very hot, but no wind. I shot a +4 88 on 24 holes. Greg didn't fare quite as well.
